March 23, 2016

The Legendary “Phife” from A Tribe Called Quest passed away last night. His family said it was from complications from diabetes.

Check out our interview with “Phife” from Ed Lover’s party back in the 90’s BEFORE A Tribe Called Quest released their album “Beats Rhymes Life”. Ill & Al Scratch also made a cameo in the video.

RIP to Heavy D
December 8, 2011

I know this is late, but, we were on hiatus. RIP to The Legendary Heavy D and The Legendary Smoking Joe Frazier. Here is one of my favorite tracks from Heavy D, “Don’t Curse”. It features, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Q-Tip, Grand Puba, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth.

If we get wide distribution for our documentary, “The Best Of: BlacksInActionTV.Com”; some of the proceeds will go to Kool Herc and the children of Notorious B.I.G. and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Click pic below to see the trailer of our documentary featuring Notorious B.I.G.

R.I.P GURU
April 20, 2010

We lost another Hip-Hop Legend. R.I.P. Guru from the legendary group GangStarr. He passed away from a long battle with cancer. I feel it’s appropiate to post up his song “Above The Clouds”, since GURU is Above The Clouds right now. Watch video below.
