On the anniversary of Biggie’s death, it’s only right to repost his first TV interview. This is also Jay-Z’s first TV appearance as well in 1994. The legendary producer Easy Mo Bee is also in this interview. Enjoy this classic. RIP to Notorious B.I.G. Click pic to watch video below.
Our prayers go out to Guru and his family. We hope Guru makes a full and speedy recovery. Below is an interesting video made by Guru’s nephew. Guru recently suffered a heart attack and had emergency surgery which was successful. Guru recently made a statement, saying he was weak, but ok. For those who don’t know, Guru was the creator of the Hip-Hop group “Gang Starr” which featured legendary producer/DJ, DJ Premiere.
Guru’s nephew is making claims that Guru’s right hand man and producer, Solar, is Guru’s power of attorney and is not allowing Guru’s family members to visit Guru. I hope all this gets straightened out. Watch Guru’s nephew’s video below.
NY Oil is going at cats heads in this freestyle. He is flowing over Snoop Doggs “I wanna rock”. This is real Hip-Hop right here. He’s going in on Lil Wayne’s young money crew, OJ The Juiceman, Gucci Man, Dip Set and Dj’s playing whack music instead of real Hip-Hop.
We were the first show to interview Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Diddy and Craig Mack before BadBoy and Roc-a-fella released their first singles or albums. In this classic episode of Blacks In Action TV, we interview Diddy and Craig Mack before “Flava In Ya Ear” was released. For those of you who don’t know, “Flava In Ya Ear” was BadBoy’s first released single.
Craig Mack was the one who put BadBoy on the map. After Craig Mack blew up with “Flava In Ya Ear”; Notorious B.I.G. blew up with “Juicy”.
This interview was shot at the after party for the movie “Above The Rim” which featured 2Pac. Click the pic below to watch video.
We lost yet another legendary entertainer. R.I.P to Teddy Pendergrass. As I said before, the Lord is making a statement with all these deaths and tragedies.
